Inclinator designed the first home elevator in 1928, and named it “Elevette”. The Elevette residential elevator is skillfully hand-made and finished one-at-a-time, making customization possible. While this elevator does require a machine room for the mechanicals, there are multiple location options near the hoistway at any level including the attic. The winding drum system is low maintenance and will last a lifetime with regular maintenance. Homeowners appreciate the Inclinator Elevette’s beauty and reliable performance while architects, builders and designers love the design possibilities for new construction and existing home additions or remodeling projects!

Safety Features included: Emergency light, alarm, battery lowering and manual lowering, upper and lower final limits, slack rope switch, pit switch, automatic cab lights, doors and gates electrically and mechanically interlocked.
